Hellmer Asian Operations
A new factory established in Shenzhen, near Hong Kong in 2005.

The company in China was established in Shenzhen in the town Gong Ming, Baoan district, just 55 km north of Hong Kong. The company has 7000 square metre office and warehouse facilities in newly built premises of which 4300 square metre is production area. With a completely new machinery for central melting, diecasting of aluminium, CNC machining and final assembly with the latest equipment from China and Europe.

The existing contact network of both suppliers and customers in China and the customer base of the Swedish parent company give reason to hope for a continuous rapid growth for Hellmer Industries Shenzhen Ltd.

Central melting
The molten metal is divided up and transported from the central melting furnaces to the
warming furnaces at the robotised die casting cells. At present, we manufacture castings
in EN-AB 44300 and EN-AB 46000 alloys. The alloys are verified with our spectrograph.

Fully-automated die casting
Our LK die casting machines have a clamping force of 800 tonnes. The process is monitored continuously for press effect, and temperature to ensure a uniform high quality.

The final components are removed from the tools by robot and placed on the conveyer belt for transport to the next operation. The robot also lubricate the tools before each new cycle.

CNC machining
The advanced machining of die casted components is carried out by multi-purpose machines from Brother.
