Powder
coating There’s always a queue at the Hellmer
powder coating facility even though you don’t see anyone
around. It’s the robots that are in charge here.
Hellmer’s 220-metre powder coating line works at a rate of
0.5 to 2 metres per minute. The process is completely computerised,
automated and uses the electrostatic powder application technique.
Degreasing and phosphating are part of the pre-treatment. This
helps the powder coating adhere better. We also offers screen printing
of components and parts, with their own equipment for producing
templates and printing frames.
Powder Coating Line
The powder line has been designed for maximum flexibility and
quality. The conveyer has a total length of 220 metres and
a speed of 0.5-2.0
metres a minute.
Electrostatic Powder Application
Our unique powder application system allows the amount of powder
per unit of area to be controlled with extreme accuracy. The
optimal amount of powder is always used, which in its turn
results in a
minimum of loss. Due to the fact that new powder is used in
the process only, without recycling, the final coating result
is
of the very best quality.
Screen Printing
Screen printing is implemented with both one and two component
ink, with subsequent air or kiln drying. We use our own equipment
to make templates and screen print frames.
POWDER
COATING
Powder coating is a solution-free, environmentally friendly painting method that
is equally suitable for sheet metal as for castings.
